Delivery
At Yaffle & Bosk, everything is built to order. We do not sit on surplus stock and so dining table/bench lead times are approximately 8-10 weeks. This may change slightly depending on how busy our workshop is and so we will keep in touch throughout the build to keep you updated.
We have tried to be as transparent as possible and aim to keep delivery costs to a minimum; we understand that these costs can sometimes feel like a ‘hidden extra’ and we want to make sure this is not the case with Yaffle & Bosk. We do not build delivery costs into the cost of your item and then claim ‘free delivery’. Instead, we have costed delivery according to where you live and mileage from our workshop (EX32 0PL). Up to and including 100 miles is £175; 101 miles to 249 miles is £275; 250 miles and over is £350*. Because we deliver this in-house we have to take into account van running costs and the time for a team member to be away from the workshop. If we are delivering other pieces in your area or en route, we will aim to coordinate this and optimise the cost of delivery accordingly.
We appreciate everyone is busy and also look to consider your availability where possible and so can offer delivery Monday through to Friday. We will need to arrange a definitive delivery day/time at least two weeks in advance.
We may be able to store tables for a short period of time in order to accommodate your availability so please do speak to us if this is needed. We try not to charge for this but in some instances we may need to.
To keep costs as low as possible, delivery is a one person service, and will in most instances require assistance unloading. If you are not confident to help with this, and a second team member is preferred this can be arranged at an additional cost. We will deliver, assemble and install all tables/benches and will also explain how to look after your table to keep it looking top-top.
Please ensure your property has adequate access/parking etc for a large van type vehicle.
Any parking costs will be chargeable.
Please check access through doorways of your home etc are of adequate size.
Please protect any flooring if our team member is required to enter your home.

Collection in Person
Collection in person from Yaffle & Bosk is very welcome. If collection is preferred, please select that option when placing your order and we will be in touch to make suitable arrangements. Any collections must be made by prior arrangement only – the Yaffle & Bosk premises is a busy workshop environment not suitable, or insured for, adhoc public access. If collecting a large item please ensure you have an extra pair of hands and a suitable vehicle, we obviously cannot be responsible for anything that happens to your item once it has been collected from our premises. Lead times for collections may well be faster than a delivered item.
Customer Courier Collection
If you would like to arrange your own courier collection, that is absolutely fine, but please be aware we will not liaise with your chosen courier, track shipments, provide additional or specialist protective packaging or be held responsible for any damage, delays or issues that may arise. The customer will be solely responsible for arranging a timely collection in a suitable vehicle. It will be up to the courier to provide specific protective packaging required for their level of service.
Failed Deliveries
Failed deliveries unfortunately come with a cost. With route planning, vehicle space allocation, drivers road time, there are costs which we cannot claw back. If you need to make changes to your delivery date, please give us plenty of notice to avoid lost fees.
Returns
As all our products are made to order, we do not accept returns unless they are deemed faulty. If you are in any way unhappy with what has been supplied please let us know in writing at the earliest opportunity. If for any other reason you wish to return your product you will be liable for return postage costs.
Storage of Items
If for any reason you cannot accept your delivery or collect your item as arranged please get in touch ASAP to discuss options. We operate a small and busy workshop with some storage facilities and so we may be able to arrange storage for an agreed and reasonable period of time (up to 1 month).
